About Rust Remover Gel
Our Rust Removal Gel neutralises and removes rust. It strips rust from all metal surfaces back to bare metal and enhances their appearance.
Quick and easy to use, simply brush on and wipe off. There is no need to scrub or use specialist tools with this rust treatment for metal. The rust removal gel will not scratch the metal and will not damage surrounding paintwork.
The gel has a non-drip formula so will cling to the surface of the metal. This means that it can be applied to any vertical surface or intricate metalwork.
Rust Remover Gel is Suitable For
Our rust remover for metal surfaces can be used to remove rust both inside and outside the home. Use on car bodywork, vehicle chassis, wheel arches, bikes, garden tools and equipment, DIY tools, gates and fences, radiators, locks and hinges and bolts, BBQs, garage doors and more.
Rust Remover Gel Coverage and Shelf Life
Store in a cool dry place, protect from frost and away from direct sunlight.
Store between 10°C and 25°C.
Once opened, use within 3 years.
How to use Rust Remover Gel
Use a wire brush to remove loose rust. Apply the Gel liberally with a brush to the rusty area and work into the surface.
Leave the thick viscous liquid to work for at least 15 minutes then wipe off. Do not let it dry out or become tacky. Repeat until all rust is removed.
Do not use if the surface exceeds 25oC.
The surface should be painted or protected with oil the same day.
